West Central is On the Move
West Central is seeing unprecedented growth! Houses are being purchased and apartments rented by those who have a desire to live an urban lifestyle that is replete with history and cultural and social amenities. Restorations and renovations are happening constantly.
Zillow predicts that West Central property values will rise by 7% in 2017 – compared to 3.4% for Fort Wayne as a whole. Hold on to your hats as we continue to see restoration and renovation of the most beautiful neighborhood in the City! What a great time to live in West Central – Where History, Art, and Friends Meet!
In 2010, West Central received a nationwide honor from “This Old House.” It was chosen as one of 14 neighborhoods in the entire country. For its Third Annual “Best Place to Buy an Old House contest, the criteria was established as follows: “For our third annual Best Places to Buy an Old House contest, what we looked for was simple: oft-overlooked neighborhoods populated by people who share an appreciation of finely crafted homes that have plenty of past and lots of future.”
